I joined the Chamber to fulfill a work obligation and began attending lunches. Through the lunches, I learned to appreciate Leon Valley for the small town feel and community closeness. I also watched the board and appreciated the hard work and time they put into this organization. I wished to be a part of this community and volunteered for the board. I am proud to part of the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and enjoy participating in this great organization.

I'm volunteering as a Board Member at the Northwest SA Chamber of Commerce as I want to contribute to the business growth and advancement of our community. Having served in the Military, plus my business expertise, allows me to help other businesses become successful. The Chamber is a great platform to accomplish those goals.
The chamber is a great avenue to help build awareness in the community of the large variety of local businesses in our own area. It allows us to tap into and build on the various talents, resources, and opportunities available in our own community.
Councilman Benny Martinez was elected in May 2014 to the Leon Valley City Council. Benny is a board member of the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Prior Benny has served on the Leon Valley Zoning Commission, member of the Business Affairs Committee and completed the Leon Valley Leadership training. I plan to bring the City of Leon Valley, NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development to work together to attract new businesses.
