I'm very proud to be a part of the Northwest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and it's Board. Our area is the fastest growing in the San Antonio Region and I'm excited to help businesses be part of that growth. As Director of Business Development, I can draw on my past experiences to assist our Chamber and the businesses it represents.
Having served on other area professional associations, I can contribute to the Northwest San Antonio Chamber and Members not only my business experience, but also valuable networking contacts. I love seeing other businesses prosper and enjoy putting together community activities to increase networking opportunities, both for our Chamber and for my career at Floor and Decor.
I'm proud to lead this great organization of businesses. We have an ambitious agenda that includes partnering with other local chambers and strengthening economic development in Leon Valley. I have been connected with the Community for over 50 years and love to help businesses grow. Our partnership with Chamber Nation allows us to provide 18 internet Marketing Tools to enhance our Chamber Member's visability on the internet for positive growth. We also have developed relationships with Local, State & Federal agencies, such as the Small Business Administration and others, to expand our Member's businesses. I find it very rewarding to volunteer with the Northwest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

It is my pleasure to contribute my 45 year bacground in Governmental and Entreprenureal expertise to the Northwest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and its Members. Having worked with serveral Chambers of Commerce, I can share positive aspects from other organizations, as well. I am also able to share my experience in grant writing to assist others that may need grants from Local, State and Federal agencies. Now retired from my regular work, I find great joy in helping our Chamber Members!
Councilman Benny Martinez was elected in May 2014 to the Leon Valley City Council. Benny is a board member of the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Prior Benny has served on the Leon Valley Zoning Commission, member of the Business Affairs Committee and completed the Leon Valley Leadership training. I plan to bring the City of Leon Valley, NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development to work together to attract new businesses.
I am proud to serve as a board member of the Chamber of Commerce because I am passionate about supporting local businesses and fostering economic growth in our community. With a strong commitment to collaboration and strategic development, I believe I can contribute valuable insights and energy to the Chamber’s initiatives. I’m particularly interested in helping create opportunities for small business owners, enhancing community engagement, and promoting policies that drive sustainable development. Serving on the board is a way for me to give back and help shape a vibrant and thriving local economy.
It's been my pleasure to serve as a past President and watch the Northwest San Antonio Chamber grow over the years. One of my key accomplishments as President was setting up our Marketing Tools and software with Chamber Nation, over a decade ago, to help our Chamber grow. I continue to seek out opportunities and advise the Board to enhance our efficiency for the benefit of our Members and the Chamber.
