I joined the Chamber to fulfill a work obligation and began attending lunches. Through the lunches, I learned to appreciate Leon Valley for the small town feel and community closeness. I also watched the board and appreciated the hard work and time they put into this organization. I wished to be a part of this community and volunteered for the board. I am proud to part of the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and enjoy participating in this great organization.

Joining the chamber was like joining an institution which provided networking with a number of like minded businesses in the area and together promoting business and the community as a whole. Lots of opportunities to meet new people and network within the chamber to create possible new avenues of business.

The chamber is a great avenue to help build awareness in the community of the large variety of local businesses in our own area. It allows us to tap into and build on the various talents, resources, and opportunities available in our own community.

Director Community Activities

Councilman Benny Martinez was elected in May 2014 to the Leon Valley City Council. Benny is a board member of the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Prior Benny has served on the Leon Valley Zoning Commission, member of the Business Affairs Committee and completed the Leon Valley Leadership training. I plan to bring the City of Leon Valley, NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development to work together to attract new businesses.

Isibor Iyinbor has been helping families and businesses in the San Antonio area to accumulate and protect their assets for almost a decade. Serving on the Board of Directors of the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is an extension of his business philosophy of serving for the greater good. His goal as the Director of membership is to promote local business affiliation and growth by sharing the many local government and commercial resources available to members.

It is great to be a part of this Chamber. The Chamber makes you feel like an important part of the organization whether you are a small or a large business. Everyone is welcome and can learn and grow from the knowledge you gain from the meetings and networking with other members.

I joined the NorthWest San Antonio Chamber several years ago to meet people and further my insurance business. I've enjoyed building relationships with many of our members. I have several as clients and I have used the services of quite a few of them, too. I appreciate the speakers that we have who bring us valuable information to help grow our businesses. I've been participating in the Breakfast networking meetings and find those to be most beneficial. I agreed to be on the Board as a Director 2 years ago because I felt it was time to "give back" to our community. I urge everyone to participate in the luncheons, breakfasts and mixers to make the most of your membership and get to know more folks! Do business with your Chamber members whenever you can!
